FAQ’s

What instruments are in a string quartet and trio?

A string quartet has two violins, a viola and a cello.   A string trio has a violin, viola, and cello.

How do I know if I need a quartet or trio?

A string quartet has the fullest sound, and is the best choice for large weddings or outdoor weddings.  Many of our arrangements of popular music have been customized for string quartet.   A trio is best suited for a smaller wedding, but will still work in an outdoor setting, although the sound will not travel as well outdoors as that of a quartet.
